Rice Pudding

I LOVE Rice Pudding.
I could eat it every day.
Sometimes I even contemplate buying the canned stuff from the Supermarket (it has that really weird taste). But I always remind myself that I can make it in half an hour and it tastes SO much better.

So, i threw the ingredients into the Thermo, and 30 minutes later I had delicious Rice Pudding for the whole family.

RICE PUDDING
based on Rice Pudding recipe from EDC

200g arborio rice
800g full-cream milk
60g raw sugar

Place all of the ingredients into the Thermomix mixing bowl.
Cook 30min/90C/reverse/speed 1.5
Eat warm or cold.

Bircher Muesli

Bircher Muesli is a great way to start the day.
Not just a treat to have from the buffet table of a fancy hotel whilst on holidays!
I like to make it if I'm having guest over for Brunch.

Lately I've been making it twice a week, because everyone loves it.
I usually make it after dinner and put it in the fridge overnight to soften. Then its ready for breakfast.

Red Chicken Curry

This curry from the EDC is a winner in our house.
Anyone with 3 kids knows it's not easy to find a dish that everyone will eat. But this one is loved by everyone in my family.

I think its restaurant quality too.
Tastes just as good as a good take-away, is cheaper and probably faster to make too.

Use whatever vegetables you have in the fridge. I typically put broccoli and snow peas.

Chorizo Pasta

This is a great everyday meal. Nothing fancy, but really tasty and easy to make.

I have made this recipe by cooking the pasta in the sauce in the thermomix (as the recipe states).
But I actually prefer to cook the sauce in the Thermo and then cook the pasta on the stove top and  mix it together. This time I made the sauce a day ahead and kept it in the fridge overnight.

If I don't work on a Monday, I like to try to get ahead for the week by cooking a few meals in advance. This is a good recipe for that. You could also freeze the sauce and use it later.

Rice Salad

Its a beautiful spring day, and I'd like to share my favourite salad recipe. I made this a couple of times a week last summer. My Husband would eat the whole lot in one sitting (if I'd let him!)
It is really easy to make and looks great, but best of all it tastes delicious.

RICE SALAD recipe from the Recipe community found here.

Today in the Thermomix I also made scones, whipped vanilla cream and Nana's impossible coconut pie.
